UMTON BARVY Extra Fine Tempera Gouache, 53 Colours

These colours are made of the same high-quality pigments as our oil colours. They are bound with a special emulsion, the essential ingredients of which are the brightest kind of gum arabic (Gum Kordofan) and other basic homogenising and stabilising components. Tempera Gouache has a soft paste consistency, dries quickly and is diluted with water. It dries to a soft matt sheen, which can be overpainted when dry with oil colours (onto rigid supports). Of particular note are the genuine earth tones in this paint range (e.g. Bohemian Green Earth, Cassel Brown, Burnt Yellow Ochre, Brown Ochre).
