Special Drawing Materials

A selection of hand-picked raw materials for drawing. These drawing chalks, clays, etc work best onto slightly abrasive surfaces (e.g. grounds prepared with pumice).

Packed in clear plastic 30ml pots - drawing pieces are irregular in shape.

Selection of mineral rock samples, in special box. In historic practice, these rocks are broken down, by crushing, sieving and washing, then used in fine powder form to make Egg Tempera paint.
